Bendixen Lab focuses on gaining quantitative understanding of dynamic landscape processes and examine the impact of these on the coupled human-natural system
The research conducted in the Lab has an interdisciplinary approach, spanning fields of geosciences and conservation, with the study of land cover dynamics, environment urbanization and sustainability, while using remote sensing approaches in data analyses
Assistant Professor Bendixen is a part of the Geography Department at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
She has previously worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Food and Resource Economics (IFRO), University of Copenhagen, Denmark. From 2018-2021 she was a Research Fellow at the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR), University of Colorado, Boulder, USA funded by the Independent Research Council Denmark and the Carlsbergfoundation.
